Hello and welcome to Team One. My name is Mrs Mitchell and I love teaching Team One.

We have lots of interesting topics and activities to look forward to; the Monarchy in our History lessons and completing an artist study on Andy Warhol, to learning about plants and making different mechanisms.

The most important thing about being in Team One is that you try your hardest. There will be some challenges throughout Team One, as there are each year, but if you give your all, that’s what matters most.

Some of the amazing things we’ll be doing this year are:

Organising and running a Royal Tea Party for our families, special guests and refugees.

Displaying our fantastic work around New Brighton

Important fieldwork throughout New Brighton, the promenade and the beach!

Exciting Experiences!

The children will hear some stories from the gospels which tell of Jesus using his God-given power to show his love and compassion. They will hear the story of the Calming of the Storm and know that we can ask Jesus to help us when we are afraid. They will learn that Jesus showed his love for sick people when he cured a man who was paralysed and know that Jesus has great love for people who are sick today. They will learn that Jesus responded to the faith of the blind man with compassion and think of ways that we can trust Jesus in situations of need.
